1. Using Xayra

Xayra is an Android personal notes and memory app intended for personal use. You must use it lawfully, respect others’ privacy and intellectual property rights, and obtain consent where required before recording or storing information about others. You retain ownership of the notes and recordings you create. Xayra does not claim ownership of them. AI-generated answers may be incomplete or inaccurate; verify important information against your original notes or reliable sources. Do not rely solely on AI answers for legal, medical, financial or safety-critical decisions.

2. Subscription features

Some features require Xayra Premium, sold through Google Play. Premium features include recording new notes, asking questions about saved information, hands-free interactions, creating to-dos and Google Calendar integration. Weekly, monthly, six-monthly and annual subscription options may be available. The price, taxes, trial eligibility, renewal interval and any offer conditions are shown in Google Play before you confirm your purchase. Eligible first-time subscribers may receive a one-month free trial. Unless canceled before it ends, the trial converts to a paid subscription at the displayed price, which then renews automatically at the displayed interval. Trials are not available to everyone; the checkout terms govern your specific offer, subject to applicable law.

Manage or cancel your subscription using the Google Play account used to purchase it: Google Play subscriptions (or Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions). Canceling stops future renewals but generally preserves access until the end of the current paid or trial period. Uninstalling Xayra does not cancel a subscription. Restoring purchases checks existing entitlements; it does not start a new purchase, restart a free trial or renew a canceled subscription.

Google Play processes subscription payments and provides purchase records and refund-request tools. You can also contact support@xayra.org about a billing or performance problem. Google Play’s processes do not replace any rights or remedies you have under applicable law.

3. Your content and backups

You retain ownership of your content. Xayra keeps personal notes on your device and offers optional encrypted Google Drive backups under your control. You should keep an appropriate backup and maintain access to your device, Google account and any Extra Privacy recovery codes. If you lose an Extra Privacy recovery code and have no device capable of opening that backup, the protected backup may be unrecoverable, including by Xayra support. Uninstalling Xayra or resetting a device without a restorable backup can result in data loss. These practical warnings do not exclude any rights you may have if Xayra fails to meet a legal consumer guarantee.

4. Availability and updates

On-device AI features depend on compatible hardware, available storage and downloaded models. Google Play, Google Drive and Google Calendar are third-party services with their own terms and availability. Xayra may provide updates needed for security, compatibility and improvements. If a proposed change would materially reduce the features you have already paid to access, we will give reasonable advance notice where practicable and explain available options, including cancellation and any remedies required by law. We will not rely on this clause to avoid supplying paid features or remedies required under Australian Consumer Law.

6. Australian consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights, guarantees or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including those under the Australian Consumer Law. Depending on the circumstances, these may include rights to have problems remedied, cancel a service, obtain a refund or receive compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Please contact Xayra support if you believe a feature or service has not met a consumer guarantee.

7. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms for legal, security or service changes. We will show the updated effective date and provide reasonable advance notice of material changes where practicable or required by law. A change will not retrospectively take away rights relating to an earlier purchase, and you may cancel future renewals using Google Play. Any non-excludable consumer rights remain unaffected.
